How To Not Get Listed or Read
I don’t have the time to look as much as I’d hoped so I really appreciate those of you who send me links to BDSM themed blogs. I only care that it is honest personal expression: not just a thinly veiled attempt at promoting junk sex sites.
Two things do inhibit my finding sites to add:
- There isn’t really any BDSM themed content. There’s nothing wrong with that but this isn’t a place for finding blogs about kittens and recipes.
- Low contrast design. I wish dark backgrounds had become popular. There’s a reason mainstream sites aren’t like that: they are harder to read. But the big sin is a lack of contrast. If you use a dark background color please make sure the font color is light enough. And don’t forget that web pages look different on different monitors. There are too many blogs for people to be willing to strain their eyes.

Fetish Meme
Short entries that serve two purposes:
- To serve as inspirations for people who blog about bondage, BDSM, D/s, S&M but are having writer’s block.
- A reduction to basic issues for people who are trying to think clearly about consensual erotic sadomasochism and power exchange for the first time.

BDSM Blog Writing Help
While some of these help texts are framed in a “femdom” context much of risk aware sadomasochism and consensual erotic power exchange is universal and might serve as inspiration for any man or woman wanting to write about the role of BDSM in their personal lives.
While framed as questionnaires that is just a device to enable me to write concisely. There are no correct answers, just your own personal response.

10 Lovely Things About BDSM
I’ve tried to sum up what kink, fetish - owner worship - means in my life.
This effort is as much an attempt to help others sum up their feelings.
Doesn’t matter if you are Old Guard, Goth Domme, Lifestyle Master or Slave.
My hope is that you’ll publish your own list (or if you don’t write online you’ll leave your list as a comment).
I’d like to see this reach out to others, both dominant and submissive persons.

Reply to comments. Repeat: reply to comments.
If someone leaves a comment on your blog give them a response, that will encourage them to return.
If you have a very busy and active group of visitors leaving comments then you may not have the time. But if the comment was worth reading then the person leaving it deserves a response.
