Constance makes a point that can never be repeated too often:

People who don’t know better sometimes assume that the woman in a male-led relationship is somehow a victim. Instead, we are on the receiving end of the love, guidance and assistance of really wonderful men who are motivated by their desire to fulfill their responsibilities, while nurturing and protecting the women they love. Those of us who are in Domestic Discipline relationships are also on the receiving end of spankings, but that’s a choice we have made for ourselves. (If it isn’t consensual, it’s not Domestic Discipline.)
